The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bourque clinches with his opponent.

Bourque breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Perez fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Bourque checks it well.
Perez shoots in and drives through. Bourque sprawls well.
A punch combination from Bourque misses.
Bourque lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Perez wants to clinch but Bourque slips to the side

and Bourque counters by clinching up.

Bourque breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Perez shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Bourque is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Perez is controlling him.
Perez works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Perez is looking for a kimura but Bourque is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Perez to get the leverage.

Perez in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Bourque tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Perez!
