Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Moe Barra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duane Dibbley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barra comes to the ring accompanied by On To The Next One. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Duane Dibbley enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Moe Barra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Duane Dibbley!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barra tries for a takedown but Dibbley sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Duane Dibbley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barra fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Dibbley looks to land a combination. Barra sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Dibbley is looking to chop away at Barra's legs.
Barra tries to clinch but Dibbley is having none of it.
Dibbley listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Dibbley gets the takedown into side control.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Barra tries to bench press Dibbley off him but Dibbley keeps the position.
Dibbley is looking to take a break and control but Barra is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Barra tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dibbley wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Barra is working hard here to advance position.
Barra is trying to control Dibbley's posture but Dibbley avoids it.

Barra is looking for a sweep.
Dibbley lands some shots froms side control.
Dibbley postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Dibbley trying to control the action but Barra is working from the bottom.

Dibbley content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Dibbley tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Barra is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Dibbley stands up and beckons Barra to his feet.

Dibbley instigates a clinch.

Barra fails to land the takedown.

Dibbley has hold of Barra's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Barra manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Barra slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Dibbley prevents Barra from improving his position.
Dibbley wants to stand but Barra has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Barra wants to control but Dibbley is keeping busy and won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Duane Dibbley dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Barra shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Dibbley counters with a straight right hand.
Barra fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Dibbley fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Barra, pushing him back against the ropes.
Dibbley is trying to break the clinch but Barra has him pressed against the ropes.
Dibbley looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
A hook to the body from Dibbley.
Dibbley pushes Barra back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.
Dibbley lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Dibbley decides to pull guard.
Dibbley trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Dibbley lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Barra!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Barra is desperately trying to improve his position but Dibbley has a good base and remains in mount.

Dibbley connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Dibbley lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Barra is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dibbley pulls his head out easily.

Dibbley seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Barra has recovered full guard.

Dibbley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Barra. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Dibbley stands up and beckons Barra to join him on the feet.
Barra throws a sloppy head kick and Dibbley moves out of range easily.
Barra rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dibbley moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dibbley misses with a low kick as Barra jumps back.
Left hook, right uppercut from Dibbley.
Barra shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Dibbley holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Moe Barra. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Barra blocks an elbow strike from Dibbley.

Dibbley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Dibbley scores with a one two! Barra had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Dibbley throws a series of strikes that have Barra backpedaling.

Dibbley pivots, looking for a leg kick but Barra is out of range and Dibbley settles back down.
Dibbley connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Dibbley closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Dibbley wants to get back to his feet but Barra is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Barra wants to control from the top but Dibbley keeps moving.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Dibbley lunges at Barra with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Barra's hand.

Dibbley gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Dibbley gets control of Barra's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dibbley will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Dibbley misses with a series of wild punches.
Barra shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dibbley but Dibbley pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Dibbley rushes Barra and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Barra wants a takedown.
Dibbley has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Dibbley lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Barra backwards.
Dibbley tries to break the clinch but Barra is controlling the position.
Barra trying to stall but Dibbley improves his position.

Duane Dibbley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Dibbley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
