The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Costa sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sor Kaenong's guard.
Sor Kaenong is not content to let Costa control the position.
Sor Kaenong really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Costa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Costa is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Sor Kaenong is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Sor Kaenong has escaped and now he's on top!

Costa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sor Kaenong gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Sor Kaenong has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Costa is proving hard to escape from.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Costa had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Sor Kaenong is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Costa Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sor Kaenong's back instead.

Costa is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Sor Kaenong is defending well though. Costa let's go of the attempt for now.

Costa is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Sor Kaenong with him. Sor Kaenong is trying to defend but Costa has an arm under the chin now! Sor Kaenong grimaces and is forced to tap out!
