The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davidson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Zoolander asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Zoolander fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Davidson manages to avoid it.

Zoolander is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Davidson is defending well though. Zoolander let's go of the attempt for now.

Davidson wants to get back to his feet.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Davidson is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Zoolander lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.

Zoolander has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Davidson has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Zoolander thows a strike but Davidson uses the opportunity to reverse the position! Great move by Davidson as he ends up in Zoolander 's guard!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Davidson gets to his feet - Zoolander follows without any prompting.

and Zoolander counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Zoolander throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Davidson was covering up waiting for the punch and Zoolander finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Zoolander postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Zoolander postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Davidson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Zoolander, into his guard.

Zoolander manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Davidson manages to get himself to full guard.

and Davidson counters with a shoot takedown. Zoolander fights it but they end up in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davidson wants to stand but Zoolander is controlling his posture from full guard.

Zoolander is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Zoolander has his foot on Davidson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Davidson works his way back into a safe position though.
Davidson wanted to stand there but Zoolander had control of the position.
Davidson is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Zoolander has his feet on Davidson's thighs here. He's pushed Davidson off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Davidson screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
