Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between DJ Filip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jyn Karinzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DJ Filip had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Filip, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Filip slips under a jab from Karinzo.
No luck for Karinzo with that takedown attempt.
DJ Filip seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Filip misses with a jab, cross combination.
Filip throws a series of punches but Karinzo avoids them all with ease.
Filip misses with a double jab.
A combination from Filip does no damage.
Filip throws a right and a left that Karinzo avoids nicely.
Karinzo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Filip's waist but Filip gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Karinzo off to one side.

Karinzo gets the takedown into side control.
Filip wants to get back to his feet.
Filip dodges the ground and pound from Karinzo.
Karinzo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Karinzo passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Filip!
Filip on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Filip tries to get out of the position.
Karinzo is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Filip can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Filip is breathing heavily.
Karinzo landing strikes from the mount and Filip is in trouble!
Filip wants to try and get back to his feet.

Filip somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
Karinzo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Filip.
Filip will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Karinzo shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Karinzo is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Filip is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
