Carwin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. big hands kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Brian Adams has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carwin leaves Adams with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Adams throws a series of punches but Carwin avoids them all with ease.
Adams is looking to clinch.
Carwin closes the distance and pushes Adams back into the ropes.
Adams jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Carwin walks away with a smile on his face. Adams gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Brian Adams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Adams looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brian Adams. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Adams shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Carwin pinned against the cage. Carwin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Adams misses with a body shot.

Carwin misses the body punch
and Adams counters with a thumping low kick.
Carwin stuffs the takedown attempt from Adams. Adams gets slowly back to his feet.
Adams shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Carwin as he jumps to the side.
Adams throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Carwin lands a head shot.
Carwin moves into the clinch.
Carwin scores a nice knee to the body.
Adams is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Carwin lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Carwin with a knee to the head.
It looks like Brian Adams has been cut.
Carwin lands an elbow that stopped Adams in his tracks for a moment.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Carwin obliges.

Adams takes an elbow to the temple.
Carwin lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Brian Adams's cut is getting worse.
Carwin landing knees to the head.
Adams is pressed against the ropes. Carwin pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Adams! Two more big strikes from Carwin and Adams crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
