Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Paul Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Felix Trinidad!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones blocks a jab.
Trinidad connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jones momentarily.
Trinidad misses with a series of wild punches.
Trinidad keeps the fight on the outside.
Trinidad throws a series of punches but Jones avoids them all with ease.
Jones tries to clinch up but Trinidad circles away and keeps his distance.
Trinidad misses with a hook. Jones ducked under it nicely.
Trinidad misses with an uppercut. Jones saw that one coming.
Trinidad misses with a straight left.
A punch combination from Trinidad misses.
Jones moves forwards but Trinidad connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Jones is rocked!
Trinidad misses with a looping left.
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jones bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jones seems to have got his legs back now.
Jones misses with a takedown attempt - Trinidad sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Trinidad moves out of range easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Trinidad circles away from the clinch attempt.
Trinidad keeps the fight on the outside.
Felix Trinidad is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Trinidad misses the jab.
Trinidad throws a hook to the side of Jones's head but Jones sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jones steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Trinidad.
Felix Trinidad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jones feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Jones prevents Trinidad from getting back to his feet.

Jones stands and steps away. Trinidad gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Trinidad might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
A swing and a miss from Trinidad.
Trinidad throws a series of punches but Jones moves out of range.
Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Trinidad is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, Trinidad circles away and we're back to standing.
Trinidad avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Trinidad displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jones.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Trinidad scores with a decent looking hook.

Trinidad drops Jones with a huge uppercut! Jones drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Trinidad is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
