The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood stuffs the takedown.
Wood avoids the head kick by Morbius.
Wood gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Morbius looks for the body kick but Wood saw that one coming.
Wood fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Wood doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Morbius decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wood's guard.
Michael Morbius has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ramsey Wood.

Morbius avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Wood has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Morbius can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Morbius drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Wood manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Morbius has Wood in his guard.

Morbius has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wood can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Morbius has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Wood should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Morbius has tightened it up now! Wood should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
