PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ichigo Kurosaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Morrissey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jim Morrissey told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrissey tries to clinch up but Kurosaki circles away and keeps his distance.
Morrissey looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Kurosaki closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Morrissey to the mat! Morrissey manages to get full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Kurosaki pushing down on Morrissey's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Well, if Kurosaki is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Kurosaki passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Morrissey!
Morrissey is looking to improve his position but Kurosaki isn't that keen on the idea.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Morrissey has given up his back here. Will Kurosaki look for the submission or keep pounding away?
