The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Son is looking to clinch.
Twyman throws a leg kick but Son moved away.

Twyman throws a leg kick which misses Son's front leg but catches the back leg as Son tries to avoid it.

Son looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Twyman!

Twyman's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Despite being in the dominant position, Thanh Son just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Twyman lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Son tries to pull guard but Twyman holds him up against the cage and eventually Son drops back down to his feet.
