Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alex das meses Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elbows Fisticuff!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
das meses Silva throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fisticuff.
Fisticuff moves into the clinch.
Fisticuff tries a knee to the head but das meses Silva blocks it.
das meses Silva is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Fisticuff using the Thai plumb to throw knees but das meses Silva has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Fisticuff has das meses Silva pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. das meses Silva manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Fisticuff drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Fisticuff tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Fisticuff changes levels and goes for a takedown here. das meses Silva fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Alex das meses Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Elbows Fisticuff.

das meses Silva is pressed up against the cage. Fisticuff has hold of a leg and is looking to drag das meses Silva down to the mat. das meses Silva avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Fisticuff closes this distance looking for a takedown but das meses Silva circles away.

Fisticuff stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. das meses Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fisticuff avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fisticuff is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

das meses Silva can't keep his opponent in guard - Fisticuff advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Fisticuff lands strikes from half guard.
Fisticuff stalling.
Fisticuff looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
das meses Silva is breathing heavily.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Fisticuff is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Fisticuff really doesn't want to stay on the ground with das meses Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fisticuff's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Fisticuff is nestled in close to das meses Silva, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Fisticuff seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Horrible takedown by Fisticuff or perhaps it was just good defense by das meses Silva which made him look bad.

Fisticuff has dropped down and is working for a takedown. das meses Silva is trying to keep an underhook but Fisticuff manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Fisticuff is looking to defend but das meses Silva has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Fisticuff! das meses Silva pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Fisticuff taps out and this one is all over!
