PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Craig Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patton shoots in but no luck this time.
Johnson swats away the attempt to clinch by Patton.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Patton is defended easily by Johnson.

Johnson closes the distance and pushes Patton back into the cage.
Patton tries to work over Johnson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Johnson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Patton tries to avoid it but Johnson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Patton to the ground. Patton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well Johnson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
