The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cake closes this distance looking for a takedown but Borneo circles away.

Cake fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Borneo sprawls well initially but Cake persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Cake is trying to control. Borneo wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Borneo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cake gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Cake shoots for a double leg takedown but Borneo sprawls well. He's pushed Cake's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Cake really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Borneo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Borneo drops back looking for a leg! Cake is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cake manages to kick Borneo off! Borneo jumps back into Cake's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Cake pushes Borneo off and scrambles back to his feet.

Cake stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Borneo has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Cake manages to get his head free but now Borneo has transitioned to an armbar! Cake grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Borneo! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
