Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrey Omoh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cat Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Omoh comes to the cage accompanied by Prong - Snap Your Fingers Snap your Neck. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dog doesn't manage to clinch there - Omoh circles away.

Dog shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Dog is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Omoh has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Omoh!
Omoh knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dog on the ground.

Dog escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Omoh gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Omoh looking to sit in guard and control but Dog gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Dog is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Omoh has Dog pulled in close to control his posture.
Omoh is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Dog tries to stand but Omoh is controlling from the bottom.
Omoh manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dog manages to get himself to full guard.

Dog isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Omoh stacks Dog on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Omoh!

Dog is not content to let Omoh control the position.
An elbow from Omoh crashes against the mat.

Omoh stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Dog changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Omoh tries to avoid it but Dog manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Omoh to the ground. Omoh escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dog looks gassed!
Omoh jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Omoh circles away from the clinch attempt.
Omoh lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

It looks like Cat Dog has been cut.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Dog has eaten all the pies!
Dog moves out of range of the body kick.
Omoh throws a right and a left that both miss.

Dog throws a low kick but it's checked well by Omoh.
Nice combo by Omoh! Oh, that's hurt him - Dog falls to the canvas and Omoh follows him into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dog manages to work his way to half guard, despite Omoh's best efforts.

Omoh will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Dog is trying to escape back to his feet but Omoh uses the scramble to pass into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Omoh is staying tight to Dog's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Omoh misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Omoh remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Dog takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
