PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dent Core (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Panda Floor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Core comes to the cage accompanied by FedUp. Floor has chosen Fed Up as his entrance music. Panda Floor struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Core as Floor shoots in.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
Core misses with a body kick.
Core throws a half hearted mid kick.
Core tries to land a front kick but Floor steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Floor fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Core manages to avoid it.

Core pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Floor looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Core throws the kick towards the body but Floor avoids it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Floor misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Core.
Core throws a sloppy head kick and Floor moves out of range easily.
Core throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Floor throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Core uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Floor.
Floor misses the shot to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Core avoids the body shot from Floor.
Core circles away from the clinch attempt.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Core fails with the takedown.

Core really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That's time! Core's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Floor misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Core blocks the strikes from Floor.
Floor moves into full guard.
Floor is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Core postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Floor wants to sweep but no luck.

Floor striking off his back but it's not causing Core any problems.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Core throws a head kick that misses.
Panda Floor is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Dent Core is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Core feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Dent Core has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
