The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freire takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Walker misses with a series of wild punches.
Freire tries for a takedown but Walker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Freire takes one to the side of the head.
Freire avoids the body shot from Walker.
Walker throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Freire closes the distance and pushes Walker back into the cage.

Walker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Freire throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Walker closes the distance and clinches.
Walker lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Walker tries to break free but Freire pushes him back against the cage.
Walker keeps control of Freire as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Freire fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Walker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Paul Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Walker throws a series of punches but Freire moves out of range.
Freire tries for a takedown but Walker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hyury Freire. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Freire circles away from the clinch attempt.
Freire shoots in for a takedown but Walker shows good takedown defense.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Walker is trying to break the clinch but Freire has him pressed against the cage.
Walker has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Freire throws a knee to the head but misses.
Walker wants to break free but Freire has control.
Walker is trying to force a seperation but Freire has the dominant position.
Walker tries to circle away but Freire has him pinned against the cage.
Freire looking for a takedown.

Freire breaks from the clinch.
Walker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Freire.
Walker scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Freire is breathing heavily.
Freire looks to throw the jab but Walker is out of range.
Freire tries to close the distance and clinch up but Walker swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Freire showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Walker.
Good exchange - Walker coming out on top.
Walker connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Freire tumbling to the canvas! Walker pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Freire was done - good stoppage!
