And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Quake!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ripper stuffs the takedown attempt from Quake. Quake gets slowly back to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Quake.

Ripper drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ripper trying to control but Quake is working from the bottom.

Ripper shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Quake is trying to defend but Ripper finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Quake is defended easily by Ripper.

Ripper got a little sloppy there for a moment and Quake has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ripper has managed to get both his arms back between Quake's legs - danger averted.

and Quake counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Ripper!
Jack Ripper overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Quake is going olschool here, as he tries to force Ripper to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ripper shrugs it off.

Quake cracks Ripper with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Quake prevents Ripper from getting the reversal.

I would just about give that final round to David Quake.
I think Ripper has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
