Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sasha Rhyno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seezaw Viks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sasha Rhyno looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rhyno is defended easily by Viks.

Viks rushes Rhyno and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Viks breaks from the clinch.
Viks throws a head kick but Rhyno moves out of range.

Viks scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Viks is controlling the pace.
Rhyno controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Viks tightens his grip and picks Rhyno up, before dumping him to the ground. Rhyno manages to land in guard.

Rhyno had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Viks is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rhyno Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Viks's back instead.
Viks manages to reverse the position and now he's in Rhyno's guard. Nice work there by Viks.
Viks seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Rhyno is working an open guard so Viks takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Viks is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Viks should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Rhyno is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Viks pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Viks is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Rhyno can't fight it off and eventually Viks manages to take the fight to the floor. Rhyno looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Rhyno is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Viks is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Viks got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rhyno has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Viks has managed to get both his arms back between Rhyno's legs - danger averted.

Viks stands up and waves to Rhyno to follow him.

Viks closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Viks lands in his opponent's guard.

Rhyno isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Viks stacks Rhyno on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Viks!

Viks shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Viks perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Rhyno slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Viks frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Viks tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Rhyno tries to reverse the position but Viks maintains control.

Viks is working for a guillotine from mount but Rhyno frees his head quite easily.

Rhyno wants to control but Viks is having none of it.
Viks is landing with some decent strikes but Rhyno is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Viks prevents Rhyno from getting the reversal.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Viks throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Rhyno!

Viks slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

What can Rhyno do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Well Viks has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
