The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gailfus closes the distance and clinches.
Jonasson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Gailfus breaks from the clinch.
Gailfus is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Gailfus jumps guard but Jonasson stands there with Gailfus around his waist. Gailfus gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Gailfus uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Gailfus thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Jonasson if he has to take too many more of those.
Jonasson looks to land a combination but Gailfus avoids it well.

Gailfus shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gailfus was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Gailfus lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Jonasson is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Gailfus has taken his back.
What can Jonasson do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
