Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andre Ribeiro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Indiana Jones!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ribeiro.
Ribeiro shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones sprawls well. Jones wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ribeiro gets slowly back to his feet.
Ribeiro looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Ribeiro has his takedown stuffed

and Jones decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ribeiro's guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Ribeiro working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jones doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jones manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

You can see the frustration on Jones's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Jones seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Let's hope that Jones has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
