Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jas Fro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Spackman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fro comes to the ring accompanied by Vangelis - Conquest of Paradise. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Jas Fro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Harry Spackman!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spackman stuffs the takedown.

Spackman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fro sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Fro is looking for a sweep. Spackman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Fro actively working from the bottom here.
Spackman tries to pass to full mount but Fro defends it.

Spackman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Fro looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Fro is trying to control but can't.
Spackman is keen to just control but Fro is a slippery customer.
Fro is looking to improve his position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Fro fails with the takedown

and Spackman counters with a single leg into guard. Fro didn't expect that.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Spackman advances position into side control!

Spackman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fro is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Spackman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
You can see the frustration on Fro's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Fro is trying to get back to half guard.

Spackman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Spackman looks gassed!

Spackman looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fro tries to bench press Spackman off him but Spackman keeps the position.
Fro manages to get back to half guard.

Fro looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Fro wants to improve his position but Spackman is controlling well.
Fro has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Spackman is working away from the top position though.
Fro is not content to let Spackman control the position.
Fro won't allow Spackman to pass to mount.
Fro is trying to maintain the position but Spackman is very close to passing his half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Fro shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Spackman's guard.
Fro thows a big elbow that misses.

Spackman is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Spackman tries to strike from the bottom.
Fro is looking to work some ground and pound but Spackman has wrist control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Spackman shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fro is trying to defend but Spackman finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Fro wants to control but Spackman passes into side.
Spackman trying to control the position but Fro is working away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Spackman gets caught flat footed, as Fro shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Spackman looking for a guillotine here but Fro defends easily.

Fro thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Fro avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fro tries to free his leg and advance position but Spackman is retaining full guard.

Spackman tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Spackman should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Spackman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fro doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fro manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Spackman had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Fro is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Spackman Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Fro's back instead.
Fro looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Fro tries to escape the position.

Spackman looking for the choke but no joy.

Spackman has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Fro has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Fro trying to control the position but Spackman manages to sink in the hooks.
Harry Spackman has got the better of the ground game so far.
You can see the frustration on Fro's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Spackman has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Fro is in real trouble here. Spackman gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Fro is tapping out! Spackman wins by rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Harry Spackman!
