The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawkins pushes Albertini away with a front kick.
Dawkins rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Albertini moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A shot to de liver by Dawkins. Beautiful body shot.
Dawkins swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Albertini fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dawkins misses with the combination.
Dawkins lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Albertini tries to clinch up but Dawkins circles away and keeps his distance.
A combination from Dawkins does no damage.
Albertini displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dawkins throws out the jab.
Albertini is looking to clinch but Dawkins is avoiding it.
Dawkins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Albertini tries to avoid it but Dawkins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Albertini to the ground. Albertini escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dawkins looks for the body kick but Albertini saw that one coming.
Dawkins throws a head kick that misses.

Albertini doesn't manage to clinch there - Dawkins circles away.
Albertini moves in looking to clinch but Dawkins pushes him off.
The fight stays on the outside here - Albertini looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dawkins goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Dawkins tries to move to mount but Albertini blocks the move with his legs.
