Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierre lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Pierre pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bjj needs to keep his hands up - Pierre had a free shot at his head there.
Pierre misses with a head kick.
Bjj shoots in for a takedown but Pierre shows good takedown defense.
Bjj takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Pierre moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Bjj is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Pierre's half guard.
Bjj is looking for a kimura but Pierre is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bjj to get the leverage.
Pierre kicks off Bjj and gets to his feet.

Pierre drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
