Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sheraton Paul II (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Marduk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marduk has chosen DMX - Intro as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Craig Marduk has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Sheraton Paul II's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sheraton Paul II!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Craig Marduk!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Franklyn Lucas and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marduk shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Paul II looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Marduk postures up and lands a big shot to Paul II's brow.
Paul II is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Marduk is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Paul II is just riding it out for now. Marduk eventually gives up the hold.

Marduk fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Paul II, pushing him back against the cage.
Paul II has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Marduk avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Marduk fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Paul II got a little sloppy there for a moment and Marduk has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Paul II has managed to get both his arms back between Marduk's legs - danger averted.
Marduk wants to sweep here but Paul II controlling him for the moment.

Well Marduk has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
