The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niinivaara keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

It looks like Jon Silakka has been cut.
Niinivaara misses with a body shot.
Silakka swings for the body but Niinivaara moves out of range.
Silakka tries to move into range but Niinivaara moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Niinivaara drops Silakka with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Silakka looks back up at him and smiles so Niinivaara waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Silakka is rocked!
The fight stays on the outside here - Silakka looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Niinivaara misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Silakka.
Silakka is trying hard to land a takedown here. Niinivaara sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Silakka slips a jab from Niinivaara.
Niinivaara goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
A chopping leg kick lands by Niinivaara.
Niinivaara checks a low kick from Silakka.
Silakka takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Silakka looks gassed!
Silakka leaves his chin hanging out and Niinivaara seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Silakka crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
