Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Moon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Girevoy Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moon's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Yoshida Brothers - Nikata. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moon lands with a hook. Khan tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Khan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Moon manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Moon throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Khan escapes and throws Moon's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Moon looking for a sweep but Khan has passed into full mount! Oh no!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Moon is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Khan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Moon can't escape the position.

Khan punishing his opponent with strikes.
Khan trying to control but Moon is having none of it.
Moon is trying desperately to improve position.

Moon tries to get back to half guard but can't.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Moon bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Girevoy Khan dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Khan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Girevoy Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Moon lands a nice shot to the body.
Khan misses the body punch
and Moon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Khan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Khan shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Moon napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Khan is working Moon over with some ground and pound from side control.
Moon is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Khan in particular looking to stall.

Khan wants to control but Moon is keeping him busy.
Khan is stalling here. Moon is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Khan seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Moon has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Moon has hold of Khan's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Khan seems comfortable defending it but Moon has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Khan is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Khan is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Moon couldn't care less - he's delighted!
