Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Moe Lester!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Burris Robinson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson moves away from the strike by Lester.
Robinson fails with the takedown.
Robinson closes the distance and clinches up with Lester, looking for a takedown. Robinson pushes Lester against the cage but Lester circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Burris Robinson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lester doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Robinson counters with a single leg into guard. Lester didn't expect that.
Robinson stands up over Lester, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Lester will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Robinson can do anything to dispel that myth.

Lester drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lester jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Robinson wants to improve his position but instead Lester has moved into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lester is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Lester thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Robinson's head.
Lester has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Lester is breathing heavily.
Robinson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lester's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lester's back!
Robinson is trying to stick to Lester's back but Lester is turning into Robinson. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Robinson's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Lester.
Lester won't allow Robinson to sweep him here.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Lester tries for a takedown but Robinson circles away easily

and Robinson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Lester tries to roll over but Robinson keeps him under control.
Robinson lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Robinson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Lester trying to hold on to Robinson's head to control him but Robinson postures up.
Robinson is nestled in close to Lester, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Robinson has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Robinson in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Robinson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lester. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Robinson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Robinson postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Lester out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Robinson goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Burris Robinson!
