The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nasr tries to keep at a distance but johnson has taken the fight into the clinch.
johnson blocks an uppercut.
johnson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Nasr tries to pull guard but johnson won't allow it.
Nasr misses with some punches.
Nasr fails to pull guard.
Nasr lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nasr takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Nasr is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because johnson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Nasr shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says johnson as he avoids it easily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
johnson is looking to clinch but Nasr is avoiding it.
Nasr throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around johnson's waist but johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nasr off to one side.

Nasr feints and as johnson raises his hands in defense, Nasr changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

johnson is trying to control the position but Nasr postures up.
johnson has control of Nasr's left arm, preventing Nasr from doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

johnson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nasr can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

johnson gets to his feet - Nasr follows without any prompting.
Nasr shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has johnson pinned against the cage. johnson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

johnson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
johnson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Horrible takedown by Nasr or perhaps it was just good defense by johnson which made him look bad.

Nasr pulls guard.
Nasr controls johnson momentarily but johnson frees himself.

johnson is sitting in close to Nasr's body. Nasr has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! johnson is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, johnson is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Nasr.
