Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
james swats away the attempt to clinch by Druida.

james fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Druida, pushing him back against the cage.
Druida tries to pull guard but james holds him up against the cage and eventually Druida drops back down to his feet.

james gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Druida is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Druida has momentary wrist control but james slips an elbow through the middle.
james must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

james trying to control but Druida is working from the bottom.
Druida working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from james.
Druida is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
james working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

james decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Druida, up you get!
An inside leg kick lands from james.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Druida fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
james getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

It looks like Little Druida has been cut.
Druida is breathing heavily.
Druida shoots in looking for a takedown. james tries to sprawl out of it but Druida keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. james manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Little Druida. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Druida walks into a jab.
james connects with a stiff jab that staggers Druida - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
