Tommasson comes to the cage accompanied by Go to sleep. Robb Flynn has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Hale Tommasson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flynn misses with a wild combination.

Horrible takedown by Tommasson or perhaps it was just good defense by Flynn which made him look bad.
Flynn lands with a kick to the ribs.

Tommasson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

The fighters are battling for position here. Flynn manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Flynn is looking for a triangle but Tommasson pushes his legs off easily.

Tommasson gets control of Flynn's arms and successfully pulls guard. Tommasson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

and Flynn counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hale Tommasson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Flynn decides to stand and escape the position.
Flynn connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Tommasson momentarily.

and Tommasson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Flynn won't be happy with that.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tommasson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Flynn sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Flynn is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Tommasson off and has taken his back!

Tommasson won't enjoy being in this position. Flynn looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Tommasson is tapping - it's over boys! Flynn picks up the submission victory!
