Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Whelan Mahoney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benny Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mahoney might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to KISS - Unholy. Benny Allen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mahoney scores with a nice right hand.
Allen fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mahoney misses with a wild combination.
Mahoney throws a hook but Allen avoids it easily.
Mahoney lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Mahoney scores with a one two! Allen had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Mahoney connects with a body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mahoney drops Allen with a right and a left! Mahoney comes rushing in but Allen regains his composure and manages to keep Mahoney in guard.

Allen has his foot on Mahoney's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mahoney works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Allen is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Mahoney tries to control but Allen wriggling away.
Mahoney tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Allen is wriggling around trying to escape.

Mahoney knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Allen on the ground.

Allen wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Whelan Mahoney just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Allen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mahoney as he jumps to the side.
Allen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mahoney pinned against the cage. Mahoney gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mahoney stuffs the takedown attempt from Allen. Allen gets slowly back to his feet.
Whelan Mahoney has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Benny Allen.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mahoney slaps away a takedown attempt from Allen, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Allen drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Allen looks gassed!
Allen drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mahoney looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mahoney looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mahoney!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Allen is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mahoney sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Mahoney throws a one two combo.
It looks like Benny Allen has been cut.
Mahoney connects with a good right hand that stumbles Allen. Allen circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Allen is rocked!
Benny Allen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Mahoney punishes Allen's body with a nice straight punch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Allen closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Allen is still on wobbly legs! Can Mahoney finish him?
Mahoney cracks Allen with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Allen falls to his knees and Mahoney doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Whelan Mahoney!
