The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chantome tries a head kick but it misses.
Chantome shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hennessy as he jumps to the side.
Chantome clinches with his opponent.
Chantome connects with a knee to the head.
Knees to the body from Chantome.
Chantome tries to pull guard but Hennessy won't allow it.
Chantome keeps control of Hennessy as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Chantome pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Chantome shoots for a takedown but Hennessy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jerome Chantome. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Chantome showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hennessy.
Hennessy stuns Chantome with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Chantome is breathing heavily.
Hennessy scores with a nice head shot.
Hennessy misses with the combination.
Hennessy bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Chantome's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chantome bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Hennessy comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Chantome falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Chantome was out before he hit the floor!
