Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Remington Vice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vice comes to the ring accompanied by The Arcade by Hypercrush. Silva is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Tough Guy. Antonio Silva has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Remington Vice! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Antonio Silva! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vice throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Silva was covering up waiting for the punch and Vice finishes the takedown easily into guard. Silva working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Vice doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Vice manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Silva keeping full guard, as Vice tries to pass. Vice drops back looking for a leg! Silva is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Silva manages to kick Vice off! Vice jumps back into Silva's guard. Silva keeping moving, preventing Vice from controlling successfully. Silva trying to keep a closed guard but Vice is proving a slippery customer.
Silva wants to sweep here but Vice controlling him for the moment. Silva keeping moving, preventing Vice from controlling successfully. Vice drops back looking for a leg! Silva is in trouble here! Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Silva tries for a takedown but Vice circles away easily and Vice counters with a single leg into guard. Silva didn't expect that. Vice wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving. Silva not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Silva had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Vice is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Silva Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Vice's back instead. Vice trying to control but not successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vice is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Silva gets his way!

We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Silva is trying to stick to Vice's back but Vice is turning into Silva. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Silva's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Vice. Vice content to stall in guard here. Silva is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Vice is aware though and is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Silva wants to sweep but no luck. Vice passes easily into side control. Nice work. Vice is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Silva knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Vice tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Vice wants to control but Silva is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva is trying to buck Vice off. Silva is not content to let Vice control the position. Silva tries to bench press Vice off him but Vice keeps the position. Vice throws an elbow but Silva slips to the side and avoids it well. You can see the frustration on Silva's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Silva tries to buck Vice off but Vice is having none of it. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Silva fails with the takedown and Vice counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Vice is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silva is just riding it out for now. Vice eventually gives up the hold. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Remington Vice dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Vice tries to score a power double leg takedown but Silva sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vice somewhat. Silva scores with a hook. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silva connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva shoots and misses and Vice counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Silva is staying active underneath Vice, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Silva wants to get back to full guard. Silva is defending against the submission attempts here by Vice.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Vice is keen to just control but Silva is a slippery customer. Silva is looking to control Vice's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Silva avoid being mounted? Vice is looking for a kimura here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Silva with a poor takedown and Vice counters by moving into the clinch. Vice tries to pull guard but Silva won't allow it.
Silva wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Vice has him pressed against the ropes. Silva is fighting off a takedown attempt but Vice is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Silva to the mat. Silva regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Silva working a defensive guard here.
Silva is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Vice is aware though and is defending well. Vice missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Silva is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Vice defends well. This has been an exciting period of action! Silva trying to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Vice slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Silva parries the strikes from Vice easily there. Vice is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Silva to escape.
Vice content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Vice working away. Vice wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Silva, who protects the arm well. Silva can't do much from the bottom here.

Silva is trying to control Vice's posture but Vice avoids it. Silva is looking for a sweep. Vice laying and praying for a moment but Silva takes advantage and regains half guard. Vice is working for a kimura but Silva is defending it quite comfortably.

Remington Vice dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Vice on the wrong end of a nice jab. Vice shoots in for a takedown but Silva shows good takedown defense. Silva misses with a takedown attempt and Vice counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Silva's guard now. Silva is adopting a defensive guard. Silva is trying to control the position but Vice postures up. Vice trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Silva is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Silva trying to control the position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Vice drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Vice jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Silva has his foot on Vice's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vice works his way back into a safe position though. Silva is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Silva might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Vice kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Vice not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Vice trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Vice has his hands clasped together but Silva extends an breaks Vice's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Silva.
