The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Irby lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
A punch lands to the side of Rogers 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Irby digs a good body shot into Rogers's ribs.
Irby lands with a hook. Rogers tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Irby lands a left and a right that send Rogers crashing to the mat, dazed. Irby thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Irby drops Rogers with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Rogers looks back up at him and smiles so Irby waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Irby rushes Rogers with punches - Rogers moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Rogers goes down! Irby follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
