Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Peter Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Rico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Parker might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dead N Gone. Rico is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Fight Song. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Rico closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Parker did well to prevent Rico getting side control.

Rico is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Parker lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rico has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rico and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Parker fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rico is out of range.
Rico shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

That's time! Parker's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rico crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Parker - the referee stops the clock and Rico gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Parker. Rico manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Rico shoots in and drives through. Parker sprawls well.
