Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lieutenant Rolfsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Bacon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Bacon's choice of entrance music: Just Like You Imagined by Nine Inch Nails. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bacon drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Bacon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Rolfsson trying to control the position here.
Rolfsson trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Rolfsson wants to stand and escape but Bacon is having none of it.

Bacon has gone for a leg lock! Rolfsson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bacon's guard.

Rolfsson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bacon, up you get!
A punch combination from Rolfsson misses.
Bacon moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Derek Bacon has been cut.
Rolfsson tries to clinch up.

Rolfsson has closed the distance and engaged Bacon in a clinch.

Rolfsson gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Rolfsson tries to stand and escape but Bacon is controlling the position.
Rolfsson is trying to control the action in half guard but Bacon is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Rolfsson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bacon on the ground.
Bacon wants to improve his position but Rolfsson is controlling well.
Rolfsson wants to free his trapped foot but Bacon is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Rolfsson wants to control but Bacon is keeping him busy.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bacon shoots in but Rolfsson avoids the takedown attempt easily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Rolfsson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bacon is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Rolfsson breaks from the clinch.
Bacon keeps the fight on the outside.
Rolfsson tries to clinch there but Bacon circles away.
Bacon fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rolfsson stuffs the takedown.

and Bacon counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rolfsson won't be happy with that.
Rolfsson is breathing heavily.
Bacon blocks the strikes from Rolfsson.

Bacon wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rolfsson, who protects the arm well.

Bacon tries for a kimura but Rolfsson is defending well.
Bacon tries to advance to mount but Rolfsson denies him.

Bacon working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bacon advances to full mount.

Bacon wants to control the pace but Rolfsson is squirming around nicely.

Bacon jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Rolfsson manages to avoid the submission attempt.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rolfsson is looking to regain half guard here but Bacon keeps moving and retains side control.

Bacon tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bacon has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Rolfsson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Bacon stops Rolfsson from getting back to his feet.

Bacon is trying for a kimura here. Rolfsson looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Bacon wins by kimura!
