Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Pitta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CB Fishface (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dennis Pitta could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to CB Fishface's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Pitta looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dennis Pitta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pitta clinches up with Fishface and pushes him back against the cage.

Pitta breaks from the clinch.
Pitta misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fishface attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
No joy there for Pitta, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fishface is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Pitta throws a series of punches but Fishface avoids them all with ease.

Fishface tries to pull guard but Pitta holds him up against the cage and eventually Fishface drops back down to his feet.
Fishface's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Pitta breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fishface ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pitta moves away.
Fishface has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Fishface there as he acknowledges the shot.

A slow jab from Pitta misses its intended target.
Fishface throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pitta shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fishface as he jumps to the side.

Pitta closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fishface did well to prevent Pitta getting side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fishface is trying to drag Pitta to the mat but Pitta just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Fishface drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pitta pulls his leg out and moves away.
Pitta fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Fishface looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Pitta tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fishface sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pitta somewhat.

Fishface is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Pitta wants to get back to his feet but Fishface passes into half guard.
Pitta might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Fishface is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Pitta wants to clinch.
Fishface shoots for a double leg takedown but Pitta sprawls well. He's pushed Fishface's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Pitta wants to get back to his feet but Fishface is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Fishface thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

CB Fishface showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

CB Fishface has got the better of the ground game so far.
CB Fishface is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Fishface might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Pitta kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
