The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Royal.
Royal blocks a jab.
Nogueira throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Royal smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Royal lands a lovely overhand right.
Royal bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Royal throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Crown Royal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Royal lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Royal lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nogueira circles away quickly and effectively.
Royal thows a body shot but no joy.
Nogueira avoids the body shot from Royal.
Nogueira shoots in looking for a takedown. Royal tries to sprawl out of it but Nogueira keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Royal manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Royal stalks Nogueira and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nogueira's face. Nogueira staggers backwards, shaken.
