The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nystrom pinned against the cage. Nystrom gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Martinez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Martinez is trying to trip Nystrom. He has hold of a leg but Nystrom is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Martinez persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
