The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slakov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Slakov has Svensson up against the cage in a clinch.

Svensson stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Svensson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

It looks like Ivan Slakov has been cut.
Slakov is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Slakov throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Svensson was covering up waiting for the punch and Slakov finishes the takedown easily into guard.
