Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bred Arguil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yodsanklai Fairtex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fairtex bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Arguil manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Fairtex takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

That was a close round but I would say that Bred Arguil will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Fairtex shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Arguil's guard.

Arguil is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Fairtex has his hands clasped together but Arguil extends an breaks Fairtex's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Arguil.
