Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Vetchnikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Egon Wildfang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Alex Vetchnikov has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vetchnikov throws a hook but Wildfang avoids it easily.
Vetchnikov swats away the attempt to clinch by Wildfang.
Wildfang avoids a punch combination nicely.
Vetchnikov throws a right hand that Wildfang ducks under and follows up with a left that Wildfang also avoids with ease.

Wildfang clinches up with Vetchnikov and pushes him back against the cage.
Vetchnikov is trying to break free.
Wildfang is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Vetchnikov pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Wildfang tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wildfang has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Vetchnikov is looking to regain half guard here but Wildfang keeps moving and retains side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Wildfang is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Vetchnikov can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That was a close second round but I would say that Alex Vetchnikov will probably get the nod.
