Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arne De Rick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doadi Rafi Meldir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meldir has chosen Khala Ya Khala as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meldir moves in looking to clinch but De Rick pushes him off.
De Rick swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Meldir swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by De Rick.
De Rick closes the distance looking to clinch
and Meldir counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Arne De Rick has been cut.
De Rick scores with a leg kick.
De Rick shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Meldir counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

De Rick's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
De Rick misses with a body shot

and Meldir holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

De Rick escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
De Rick throws a one two combo.

Meldir closes the distance and pushes De Rick back into the cage.
De Rick is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Meldir pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Meldir manages to break the clinch.
A nice combination there by Meldir.
Meldir throws a combination that misses
and De Rick counters with a straight right hand.
An inside leg kick lands from Meldir.
A clash of legs there as Meldir blocks the low kick.

Meldir rushes De Rick and presses him up against the cage.
Meldir prevents De Rick from breaking the clinch.

De Rick is trying to break the clinch but Meldir is controlling him.

Nice takedown defense from De Rick. No joy for Meldir on that attempt.

Meldir clinches up with De Rick and pushes him back against the cage.

Meldir avoids a punch combination nicely.

De Rick stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and De Rick wants it to stay on the feet.
Arne De Rick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Doadi Rafi Meldir.
Meldir checks the leg kick nicely there.
De Rick is looking to clinch but Meldir is avoiding it.
De Rick throws a series of punches but Meldir avoids them all with ease.
