The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Jones wants to work for an arm triangle but Kopite is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Jones is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kopite is just riding it out for now. Jones eventually gives up the hold.

Jones looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Jones seems to be working for a kimura but Kopite defends the submission attempt.

Kopite is looking to escape.
Jones works his way into full mount!
Kopite is looking to improve his position but Jones isn't that keen on the idea.

Jones goes for an armbar but Kopite turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Kopite.

Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kopite doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kopite manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jones has an active guard here but Kopite has managed to pass into half guard.
Kopite knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.
Jones looks gassed!
Jones wants to get back to full guard but Kopite has passed into side control.
Kopite content just to control the position here.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jones is wriggling around trying to escape.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kopite tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Ketelin Jones will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

A lazy left from Kopite finds it's target.
Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kopite but Kopite pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A head kick misses from Kopite.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt.
Jones is breathing heavily.
Kopite tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Kopite lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kopite.

Jones is rocked!
Roberto Kopite is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jones closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Jones is still on wobbly legs! Can Kopite finish him?
Kopite moves in close and cracks Jones with a massive right hand! Jones, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Kopite!
