Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buddy Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson thows a body kick. Machine tries to catch it but that hurt him.
A slapping leg kick lands for Simpson.
Simpson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Simpson tries to clinch but Machine moves out of range.
Simpson dives in and grabs Machine's left leg, looking for a takedown. Machine pushes down on Simpson's head and hops out.

Machine gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Simpson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Machine's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Simpson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Machine is proving hard to escape from.
Machine utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Machine wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Simpson is now in half guard.
Machine is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Simpson pulls his head out easily.

Despite being in the dominant position, Buddy Simpson just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Simpson throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

It looks like Joe Machine has been cut.
Simpson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Simpson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Simpson is trying to control Machine's posture but Machine avoids it.
Simpson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Machine tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Machine has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Machine throws a big right hand that misses.
Machine trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Simpson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Machine is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Simpson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Machine's back instead.
Simpson gets his hands free as Machine looks to control.
Simpson controlling the position well here. Machine rolled but Simpson kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Simpson is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Machine. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.

Simpson is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Simpson gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Simpson gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Simpson apologises and we restart here on the feet.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Machine throws and elbow that misses. Simpson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Machine's guard. Nice move by Simpson!

Machine isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Simpson stacks Machine on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Simpson!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Machine is looking to improve his position but Simpson isn't that keen on the idea.

Simpson cracks Machine with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Buddy Simpson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Simpson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
