PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Slayter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Lashley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Slayter might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Eminem - You Don't Know ft. 50 Cent. Bobby Lashley is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Lashley tries to escape but Slayter has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Slayter has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Lashley has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Slayter drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Slayter jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Lashley closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Slayter to the mat! Slayter manages to get full guard.

Slayter is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lashley is just riding it out for now. Slayter eventually gives up the hold.

Well Lashley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
