Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eduardo Costa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Costa has chosen Head Dance as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eduardo Costa! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez throws a push kick but Costa slaps the foot to one side. Sanchez looks to land a combination but Costa avoids it well. Sanchez looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Costa has managed to clinch.
Costa has clasped his hands together around Sanchez's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sanchez wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Costa postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

That was a close round but I would say that Kevin Sanchez will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
