Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Julio Amoroso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Valjean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Amoroso comes to the cage accompanied by Renegades of Funk - Rage Against The Machine. Valjean has chosen Saftey dance as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valjean tests Amoroso's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Amoroso looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Valjean is fending him off so far but Amoroso persists. Nope, Valjean circles away and we're back to standing.
Amoroso shoots in looking for a takedown. Valjean tries to sprawl out of it but Amoroso keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Valjean manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Amoroso on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Amoroso is rocked!
Valjean thows a body shot but no joy.
Amoroso throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Valjean's waist but Valjean gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Amoroso off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Julio Amoroso. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Valjean fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
No joy there for Valjean, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Amoroso closes the distance and clinches up with Valjean, looking for a takedown. Amoroso pushes Valjean against the cage but Valjean circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Valjean scoring well with a low kick there.
Amoroso moves out of range of the leg kick from Valjean.
Valjean looks to score with a jab to the body but Amoroso is just out of range.
Valjean throws a quick inside leg kick.
Amoroso is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
