Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lucian Bute (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tijl Bal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lucian Bute is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bal gets caught flat footed, as Bute shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bal controls Bute momentarily but Bute frees himself.

Bal is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bute is aware though and is defending well.

Bal escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bute gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bute cracks Bal with a solid left hand.
Bute not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Bute working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Bute has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bute wants to control from the top but Bal keeps moving.
Bal is trying to keep Bute in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bal wants to stand and escape but Bute is having none of it.
Bute missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Bute lands a decent elbow from side control.
Bute is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Bal's shoulder. That is not cool.
Bal is working to avoid the ground and pound but Bute connects with a decent elbow.
Bute lands a nice forearm strike.

Bute is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bal knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bute cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Bute is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Bute extends the arm and Bal is forced to tap!
