Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Arlovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniels has chosen Hillbillly Shoes as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arlovski slaps away a takedown attempt from Daniels, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Arlovski defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Daniels.
Daniels shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Arlovski defends it nicely.
Andrei Arlovski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Daniels.
Arlovski will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Arlovski looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Arlovski counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Arlovski.
Daniels has Arlovski pressed against the cage, preventing Arlovski from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Daniels has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Arlovski is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Daniels looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Arlovski with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Arlovski has hold of Daniels's hands but Daniels slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Arlovski is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Daniels scores with a couple of nice shots.
